Booking A Transport Job

To book a job with us simply give us a ring and we will try and accomodate all of your requirements which ever way we can, to get your goods transported in the best way possible.

Orders should be confirmed by either fax or emailing us with the relevant information and order numbers if your company requires them.

Paperwork / Delivery Notes

James Wilby use our customers delivery notes at all times. These must be given to the driver on collection of the goods. All delivery notes supplied must have at least two copies. If no paperwork is received, a James Wilby POD will be created by the driver to ensure all goods are signed for.

Invoicing / Credit Request

All invoices are either posted or emailed depending on what best suits your needs. Along with your invoice will be the POD for the relevant jobs attached to this.

Invoice Queries and requests for credit must be raised in writing. Queries must be emailed to our Company Accountant – Tracey

Proof of Delivery (POD)

Following delivery all POD’s are scanned on to our computerised transport system. POD requests can also be made by emailing Marilyn or Linda whereby the POD will be attached to the email and returned.

James Wilby operates a fleet of 15 modern, fully equipped vehicles with front or rear mounted hiab. We can lift anything up to 9 ton on our specialist equipment.
